Happy New Year! If you’re like me, perhaps one of your NEW YEAR resolutions is to organize and simplify your closets. It’s easier to purge when you know your closet clean-outs will be a blessing to others, so consider donating to TREASURE HOUSE FASHIONS – the nonprofit, quality, women’s resale shop with a tender heart (check out our mission at www.thfashions.org).
We are accepting FALL/WINTER merchandise for a few more weeks – until January 17th, so please, ladies, clean out those winter clothes ASAP and get them to our shop during regular store hours by January 17th. No appointment is necessary. Store hours are TUES 11-6, WED 11-6, THUR 11-8, FRI 11-4, and SAT 11-4.
NO DONATIONS OF CLOTHING WILL BE TAKEN FROM JANUARY 17th TO MARCH 1st. We have our semi- annual BAG SALE the first three weeks of FEB – all the clothes you can stuff in a brown grocery bag for $30. Don’t miss that, ladies! We provide the bags, and you get the amazing bargains!!
Starting March 1st, we’ll receive SPRING/SUMMER merchandise. We ask that all donations be clean, gently-worn, and without any odors – mothballs, cigarettes, etc. We want our merchandise to be a ”treasure” to any woman.
Here’s a save-the-date notice: our annual fundraiser, FASHION FINDS WITH A FLAIR, will be April 18th at FOUR POINTS in Cranberry. It’s a lovely event – luncheon, fashion show, and auction (both Chinese auction baskets and Silent Auction items) from 10AM until 2PM. We’re now collecting items for auction baskets and silent auction items, as well as coporate sponsorships. If you can contribute in any way, please contact us. And of course, we’d love to have you attend the event. Check our website in February for registration forms.
